Epson uses very fast-drying, water-soluble, inks in this printer,

and if the printer sits idle for some length of time the ink feed

 tubes and the print head become clogged with dry ink.
This is the same type chemical solution used by Epson repair

techs in service departments. It works for all Epson Inkjet printers.

trouble shooting:

Q: how to do when you couldnot print out anything or printout faint areas or gaps ?
A: follow below steps:
1.Check the outside tank air hole plugged with the air filter.
2.check the ink tube is fine for the ink flowing and ink flows freely in the tube.
3.take the head cleaning 2-3 times.
4.strongly suggest use high quality ink. Dnot mix different ink. otherwise may cause color cast or clog the nozzles.
5.Take out the CIS ink cartridge and use syringe(without needle) to draw some ink (2-3 ml) out of cartridge (draw from the cartridge ink out hole, draw some ink and air out). Then re-install them and wait several miniutes before printing.)

Q: How to remove the air in tube or incartridge?

A: first, that is good for a  few air exist in the top of inner cartridge, it can avoid siphon happen. a little air bubble in the tube is normal, it will join in the air in top cartridge finally. according to the temperature, the air will expand or shrink. but if the air is a little more, you may try clear head process to remove some. if the air is too much, you may take the inner cartridge out of printer, and use syringe (without needle) to draw some ink out, air come out at the same time.

Q: how to do when the printer could not check the chips and give flashing red lights?
A: the chips maybe dirty or not on the right position. please take out the cartridges and wipe the chip sofetly with clean cloth, and make sure it is in its position well, then replace them again. press the cartridge softly. if it doesnot work after several times, please replace the new chips.

Q: why the printout is much different from the original one?
A: please click" ICM" in the "Color management" of print panel when you find the printout is

much different from the original one.

 Q: why the ink flood out?

 A: after install the CISS, please put the outside tank at the same  height of printer position( It is very important), then open the air hole  and seal it with air filter. te outside tank cannot be higher or lower than the printer position.
