How does it work? Just place the cartridge chip on the resetter and wait 5 seconds, Thats it! you will see the light shining and at the same time the ink levels on the cartridge are restored to new.

Why do you need the CM228 chip Resetter ? Epson Company makes the wide format printer cartridges with "smart chips" which send a signal to the printer when their cartridge are empty. This program prevents the printer from recognizing a refilled cartridge as the printer still "remembers" the cartridge as being empty. But the CM228 Chip Resetter will Reset (reprogram) this memoried chip, allow you to refill the cartridge and allow the printer to recognize the cartridge as a  new one !
